Mental health policy and programming expert with 13+ years experience in team leadership, service design/evaluation, state- and nation-wide implementation, community engagement, and health equity. I currently lead a team of consultants in institutional mental health strategic planning, service audits, and content reviews for Canadian and American universities as Managing Partner with The Cawley Mughal Group. As an appointed member of the Mental Health Commission of Canada's Technical Committee, I am collaboratively designing the first national standard for post-secondary student mental health in the world. I also am leading a CIHR-funded research project to create national standards for child and youth mental health systems as part of my PhD in Mental Health at McGill University. I believe everyone deserves access to high quality, effective mental health care, and that this is more than possible for us to achieve in our lifetime.
