This involved supporting the UK Buying Team for Software. On a day to day basis I was required to understand and develop internal customer procurement and contractual requirements, such as requests for software licenses, queries about procurement processes or the creation or amendment of contracts. I was required to participate in discussions and negotiations with internal IBMers and external organisations to draft, negotiate and execute various types of contracts. As well as negotiate with external organisations for purchases of software or contracts to achieve cost savings for IBM according to specific targets. I also performed departmental staff work e.g. preparation of business letters, purchase orders and contract files for audit readiness and other departmental work. Also I provided advice and guidance to internal clients with respect to the activities above.

Longwell Green

As a Sales Assistant Customer Service was key to my role. I also worked on the operations team and led the delivery team in processing deliveries which required leadership, organisation and time management.
