She++ is a social enterprise that empowers women to make their mark on the technology industry. We believe that when women are equally represented in technology development, we accelerate innovation for those who need it most.She++ was Stanford’s first conference on women in technology, hosted/founding in 2012. Our mission is to dismantle the untrue stereotype that computer science is not a career for women. We work with the technology industry to create a culture that is more appealing to women, and we work with women to dismantle harmful perceptions that they cannot succeed in the technology industry.

As the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and IET (Integrated Education and Training) Program Manager, I oversee, monitor, and manage Friendly House's ESOL and IET Programs, which empowers and supports low-income adults, homeless adults, and adult immigrants in Phoenix through Adult Education opportunities and services. Responsibilities include data collection, management, and analysis for the program, supervision of ESOL/IET instructors, grant management, and collaboration with other Friendly House Program Coordinators in the Adult Education department. Reports directly to VP of Client Services.

Provided case management services for asylum-seekers resettling in the greater Phoenix area as a member of the Asylum-Seekers and Families program. Services include direct integration, immigration, and emergency services, as well as long-term case management services intended to empower each asylum-seeker and family to become self-sufficient thrive in their new communities. The Asylum-Seekers and Families program is part of the IRC's Survivors Unit, also called Safety and Wellness, which serves the most vulnerable migrants who are resettling in Phoenix, including Survivors of Torture, Victims of Trafficking, Victims of Crime Acts, and Asylum-Seekers and Families.

As the Business Development Associate Team Lead, I independently recruited and provided client-management services to more than 30 clients, bringing in new business valued at over $1.3MM, exceeding my annual goal in 11 months.Additionally, I developed and administered the company's first Social Media Branding Guideline Portfolio which resulted in 250% growth in audience in 11 months; developed and managed a monthly newsletter called Mission Status, authoring the first 9 editions; and authored and managed company blog, which featured a series of 5 blogs featuring our clients’ success stories which increased our inbound sales traffic by 20% and increased investment in our clients’ businesses.

I co-led outreach events, cultural orientation events, and advising of all future study abroad candidates at Stanford's Bing Overseas Study Programs (BOSP) Office. I developed and executed over 12 outreach and orientation events resulting in a 30% increase in study abroad applications for the Italy program. Additionally, I was the Project Lead for redesigning the pre-departure orientation in collaboration with Stanford’s Diversity & 1st Generation Office to increase cultural sensitivity. The program redesign was recommended and implemented for all Stanford BOSP programs, which resulted in a 25% increase in student satisfaction with the study abroad experience.

Selected to assist with casting for Spanish TV shows and movies. Responsible for recording auditions and creating character profiles. Learned valuable lessons in time management, entrepreneurship, and networking in a foreign language.

Assisted lawyers and attended civil hearings at the Tribunale (local courthouse) in Florence. Researched in English and Italian on the law and history of the labeling system for “Made in Italy” products. Learned valuable lessons about the Italian legal system, research in a foreign language, and project management.

Developed and taught diverse educational lessons to underprivileged middle school students. Supervised classroom during all activities and events; tutored kids one on one and in groups. Liaised between kids, program organizer, and parents on various topics in English and Spanish.
