As a community manager, I act as the liaison between an organization and its audience. This includes dictating the voice, tone, and moderator of the brand through community support, content distribution, and digital engagement to build brand presence and trust, both online and in-person. Recently, we did a campaign for a tv show and I could interact through a new social media platform called Community. This involved sending direct messages to people who were involved in the campaign. Besides Community Management, I also support with copywriting and brainstorming on new pitches.

Assisted a classroom for Lower Elementary, grades 1-3, where I worked directly with the teacher to plan each day and how I could assist the class best. From attendance to leading small groups in workshops, handling lunch time and recess, reading time and after-school care, each day was different. I created multiple learning packets in InDesign, corrected all assignments, and ran the writing and spelling classes when having to switch to virtual classes. I was promoted to this new position right before the covid shutdown and ended up losing my job around August as there was no plan for when I could go back to work. Thus, ending my time at Bars and Recreation after 8 years there.
