As a senior at William Peace University (Peace College), I will be graduating in May with a B.A. in English and minors in Women's Studies and Communication. Since completing a term as the Editorial Intern at Walter Magazine, I have continued work with the publication by coordinating photo shoots and the completion of feature articles. Until October of 2014, I was a member and manager of The South Carolina Broadcasters, an old-time band rapidly gaining national and international recognition. My involvement with the band led to an understanding of music business, effective social media marketing platforms, event planning, and how to convey thoughtful and purposeful messages to fans. I am passionate about community, connecting people through their stories, and capturing the inspiration I have garnered from downtown Raleigh and the rest of North Carolina.
