About Sarah Pearce
As a certified holistic health practitioner in her early work life, Sarah learned the importance of integrating natural and flexible alternatives to create health and well-being.In subsequent decades of a busy sales and business leadership career, this served her well. During that time she drew on the tools of meditation, relaxation, and exercise to achieve a feeling of calm and connection despite the typical stress and imbalance of corporate life. Always passionate about yoga and its teachings, Sarah eventually took time out from her corporate career to gain her qualification as a mindfulness trainer, then combined her love for natural health with a deep respect for ancient wisdom by becoming both a newly certified health coach and a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher. Later, Sarah graduated with further training to specialize in teaching yoga to older adults and those with age-related vulnerabilities. She founded Gentle Yoga NZ and began holding weekly community classes for seniors in the Rothesay Bay Hall, a tranquil setting close to the beach on the beautiful North Shore of Auckland, NZ. In addition to these senior yoga classes, Sarah now teaches Yin and Restorative yoga – classes designed to relax, nourish, and restore the mental and physical well-being of all ages. This fits well with her current work as a Healthy Aging Coach. Here, she uses the very latest science-based tools and proven coaching strategies to help her clients reclaim their well-being and age with ease and joy. Sarah is also frequently invited to teach at retreats and similar health-related events.
