I am proud to say that I am part of a team that have successfully increased student recruitment, even in challenging circumstances such as Covid-19. In response to the pandemic our open days went online, and I filmed and edited video content that was used as part of the virtual events.I project manage both the undergraduate and postgraduate prospectus, overseeing every element including content creation, managing budget, liaising with designers and organising delivery. I am also responsible for e-communications; writing copy, building the email in systems such as Mailchimp and Salesforce, creating data reports and logging the open and click through rates to feed back to managers on their progress. I was the Managing Editor of WWT’s quarterly magazine Waterlife, working closely with the editorial board and publishers to create engaging content that would retain members. I also project managed a number of campaigns such as Life Membership, working on all aspects such as the creative, schedule, budget and fulfilment. I am proud to say that the last promotion exceeded target.

My responsibilities included creating engaging and effective e-comms with measured outcomes and cross-platform tie in, and organising and leading open days; welcoming over 3200 students. I also launched the next phase of the website, consulting with academic schools to create new and innovative videos, photos and copy which won Bronze in the HEIST awards.

I was very proud to be part of the team responsible for the total rebuild of the university website and content for the prospectus: writing copy and project managing photography and video content. I also led the UCAS higher education fairs campaign, working on every aspect of the project from inception to completion including the creative, managing budget, production of collateral, and logistics such as staffing and training.

Wanted Down UnderHairy Bikers Best of BritishI sourced exciting stories for programmes such as Hairy Bikers’ Best of British and Wanted Down Under; creating detailed research briefs that would be the basis for the director’s scripts. I would then organise and book contributors, locations and equipment and produce organised shooting schedules. On location, I was also the sound recordist, responsible for the quality of audio produced for the programme.
