With over nine years of experience in emergency management, I am a passionate and dedicated Management Analyst at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, FEMA Region 5. My core competencies include analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness, productivity, and efficiency of programs, operations, and management, as well as advising and liaising with various stakeholders and partners. My mission is to support the Regional Administrator and the Field Leadership Teams in delivering high-quality services and outcomes to the communities and individuals affected by disasters. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked with different levels of government, private sector, and nonprofit organizations in the field of emergency management.In my current role, I apply my knowledge of agency programs and activities, missions, policies, objectives, management principles and processes, and analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess program development and execution, and to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency. I also understand budgetary and financial management principles and techniques as they relate to long-range planning of programs and objectives. I use my skills in office administration, professional communication, and customer relationship management to coordinate and facilitate various projects, meetings, reports, and correspondence, and to maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external contacts. I am proud to be part of a team that works hard to protect the nation from all hazards and to help people prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
