Other major duties and responsibilities include: Protecting the integrity of assets, services, and other configuration items (CIs) under the control of HGSE IT through the service delivery lifecycle by establishing comprehensive change, release, and configuration management programs to ensure that only authorized changes are made, and only authorized components are used; Ensuring assets, services, and CIs are identified, controlled, audited, and properly cared for throughout their lifecycle, to include recording versions, baselines, constituent components, attributes, and relationship mapping; Collaborating closely with HGSE and University IT service owners and internal change advisory boards (CABs) as initiatives move through the delivery lifecycle to ensure policies and programs are effectively communicated, correctly executed, and consistently audited against a best practice model for adherence; and Ensuring executive leadership alignment on planned changes, process objectives, and organizational policies for cross-functional change, release, and configuration management. -
