After 20+ years in the design industry, I know how small and large design departments tick. Being a Studio Manager, you have to be across everything 
that is going on in the studio. It is important that all inhouse staff know exactly what they need to do and when they have to do it. It is my job to make sure designers have everything they need to create amazing design solutions that exceed expectations. I know how to effectively manage projects and feel very comfortable talking to clients and suppliers to create the best outcomes that look great and communicate effectively. I will mange and follow the lifespan of a job from request and quoting and initial brief, to concept development, artwork through to finished art and product implementation, through to delivery and post job follow up. I am able to multitask effectively, using various studio resources concurrently to achieve the most efficient use of time and budget.Having been a designer for most of my career, thinking creatively is second nature to me. I understand the process innately. I enjoy solving logistic and visual problems and working together with a great team gives me a great sense of satisfaction and achievement.I have worked with job management platforms such as Float, Monday, Streamtime, ClickUp and Slack. Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge and Acrobat are part of my daily toolbox. I have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as I couldn’t complete my job without them. Google sheets has also become an integral part of the design management process. Getting the best result for the client and a happy internal team are the ultimate objectives. Above all, having great communication with colleagues and clients means everyone is on the same page. This is really important to me.With extensive experience working in different professional environments I understand there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. Being able to adapt to the needs of the required role is essential. I really enjoy working with
others but also feel equally confident when working on my own. I know how to manage my time effectively and understand the importance of meeting deadlines. Always professional, friendly and enthusiastic with a positive outlook. I love what I do!
