A specialist in career transition, from starting a graduate journey through to planning for a smooth move into retirement, I'm passionate about motivating people to develop and shine in their working lives.I provide expert career coaching and consultancy services, interview coaching, strengths profiling and leadership performance to students, graduates, professionals, and senior managers, including Director and Board level, across the UK, from all sectors and business areas. I’ve worked within higher education settings in a variety of roles since 1998: as a Careers Consultant and Team Leader at the University of Birmingham’s award-winning Careers Network; as an Accredited Coach with UoB’s Coaching Academy – supporting senior professional services staff and academics to improve performance and confidence; and as a Careers Manager at a specialist Law University. My coaching style is calm, warm, intuitive and pragmatic, complemented by my wealth of careers consultancy experience across a wide spectrum of sectors and seniority levels.My strengths-based coaching practice incorporates deep-dive, insightful online strengths and motivation assessments with personalised debriefs, to help clients understand themselves better, boost their confidence in their own abilities, and embrace the joy and energy of life – personally and professionally. As an Executive Coach and Workplace Mentor, I offer a flexible programme of 1-to-1 and group coaching programmes which provides a confidential and impactful solution to support managers and HR to help develop an individual’s workplace performance or job success.
