Welcome!! I'm Sarah. I'm a social worker and mental health advocate. I am currently taking a deep dive into clinical work and building a private practice focused on a mind+body approach to healing and wellness, specifically for difficulties related to traumatic experiences. The common thread within my career momentum is shedding light on the potential impacts of adversity, chronic stress, and trauma on individuals, families, communities, organizations and systems. The field of "trauma" is rapidly evolving. It's energizing to take part in a movement that is already having a profound impact at the micro and macro levels. At the end of the day, the most important question we can ask each other is "what happened to you?" instead of "what's wrong with you?"
