I'm a freshman at Loyola University with an undecided major, but I plan on taking courses in sociology and psychology.I have had various summer and part-time jobs that taught me to prioritize and use my knowledge and communication skills to assist others.My current job is tutoring and teaching third grade students in an after-school program at Centro Romero. I am also a Homework Helper at Jordan Community School through Loyola4Chicago, a weekly service program. I hope to continue tutoring in the future with different age groups and academic goals.I have leadership experience from high school, where I was the president of Harry Potter Club. This included planning, publicizing, and executing fundraising events as well as keeping fellow members motivated and entertained at weekly meetings. I have many interests and I try to learn something from every opportunity and experience I have.
