We seek to shift the policy lens on social inclusion, create vibrant new programs for engagement, and ensure that the projects we design and implement have longevity. We have grown from a grassroots project of 3 employees, to an organisation that employs over 25 people including ESL Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Trainer and Assessors, Swimming Teachers, Bicultural Aquatic Assistants, Bicultural Water Safety Officers, Childcare Assistants and Lifeguards. Over 70% of our workforce are members of the refugee and migrant community undertaking work in Australia for the first time, and who graduated from their initial swimming and English program with Aqua English. Our strength is collaboration and positive partnerships, and we are the conduit between Australia's Multicultural community and the aquatic sector.
