About Sarah Schwarcz
I have worked as an executive assistant since the age of 17 when I held my first position as the assistant to a prominent immigration attorney. Even at such a young age I was motivated to be of service to the many immigrants whose needs spanned beyond gaining legal standing in this country. I was honored to have assisted hundreds of political asylum applicants with preparing their cases and accompanying them to court for moral support and translating from Russian to English. I also often volunteered my personal time to help my clients manage their bills, finances, and paperwork that posed an overwhelming task due to the language barrier. My passion to be of service later led me to cofound a non-profit organization that brokered avenues for remote communities all over the U.S. to have greater access to kosher food. This non-profit later owned a medical clinic that provided holistic healthcare to the predominantly Latinx community of Hawthorne, California. I managed all of its day-to-day operations, supervised medical staff and employees, and enjoyed the privilege of facilitating our patients' healing. I have since spent many years in the skilled nursing field as a human resources and executive assistant to C-level executives where I remained deeply connected to my dedication to provide care.Today, I am an executive assistant by day and a clinical psychology student by night. Passionate about the benefits that psychedelic plant medicines have on our mental health, our bodies, our hearts, and our spirits, I am also studying to ultimately offer healing as a psychedelic therapist. I also volunteer my office operations skills to a non-profit organization that provides harm-reduction education and integration support services to the growing psychedelic community of Greater Los Angeles. A lover of earth and all living beings, I look forward to continuing my work with organizations whose missions of providing assistance and care to those who are struggling are similar to mine.
