I would describe myself as a multipurpose technician, specialising in marine data collection and the planning and logistics required to get it done.I have worked as part of a team and independently. I am not a deep expert in any particular field but I have plenty of experience in many areas. I can learn new protocols quickly, and know when to ask and when to use initiative. I have worked with very many instruments, sensors and samples so I understand the need for attention to detail, quality control, and how to troubleshoot problems. I am a naturally organised person and believe in thorough preparation (whenever possible).SEAGOING STATS100 voyages (total)90 research voyages6.7 years at sea34 research vessels10 commercial vessels
