Assistive Technology Specialist | Certified Speech Language Pathologist. Helping to empower individuals to achieve spontaneous, independent, and effective communication. Is passionate about utilizing Assistive Technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices to provide a voice and effective communication for every individual. Provides solutions, equipment, and resources to access environmental controls for those who have physical disabilities. As a certified speech language pathologist, I have established relationships and strong ethical qualities through engaging in family education plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary professionals. I have had the opportunity to assess, train, and direct intervention with individuals using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, as well as help develop skills necessary for independence.
