At Big Brother Big Sister, I work alongside staff members trying to make effective and the best matches possible. I meet with Littles, and help conduct interviews, and interview Bigs. I help collect information, and enter it into the database. I use this information to help try to match the best Little to the best Big.

I plan lessons according to the Common Core standards, and work with 3rd-5th graders. We meet twice a week for an hour in groups. I provide homework help, and enrichment lessons.

I worked with a group of 15-20 kindergartners. I was in charge of them for 6 hours a day, and required to get them from each place they needed to be. We worked on communication and sharing skills. And, I even taught them some Spanish words, such as colors and numbers. We played games that promoted turn-taking, and overall had fun.

While at Dunkin Donuts, I was required to work in a fast-paced environment. I was usually put on the register, because I have strong and fast math skills. When there was no manager on shift, I was responsible to delegate jobs, make sure people got their work done, and responsible for putting money in the safe, and taking it out.
