Sarah Shu is the founder and CEO of Thrive Insights Inc., a management consultancy firm that provides strategic planning and fractional CFO services to ventures and small businesses to help them grow and thrive.Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Sarah had a successful career across various areas ranging from capital planning, business strategy, sales, tech marketing to engineering. Over a span of 20+ years, Sarah gained leadership and executive experience at large corporations as well as startups. She had overseen a 600 million+ portfolio that spearheaded innovation in telecommunications. She also brought a new technology to market from product development to market launch. Her practice embraces sustainable development and ways of creating a positive impact on the world. Sarah is an Executive in Residence at the Ivey Business School. She is also a past co-president of Ivey Alumni Network Toronto serving 10,000+ alumni in the greater Toronto area.Sarah holds an executive MBA from the Ivey Business School at the Western University and a master's in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.
