I finished my training here in June 2016.Within this role I developed skills, understanding and confidence in all aspects of radiation oncology care - from radiation protection, QA, IGRT, SBRT, image matching, Pre-treatment, brachytherapy, radio-surgery, MRI, patient information, treatment set-up, treatment quality checks, treatment delivery, after-care, side-effects management, data-prep, planning radiotherapy treatment plans, etc.Over the 3 years of my training I also developed my person centered and compassionate care skills, leadership, enhanced research into patient information for radiotherapy, created the first radiotherapy patient information smartphone app (RADCARE), A-Z Comic of Radiotherapy handbook, RONCrg twitter revision group for radiotherapy students, started the RAD conference, started the national Radiotherapy Story project and much more. I have drawn talks by Channel 4, Google, WIRED Magazine & others. Thanks to the awesome Doc/Fest I've been able to do this else where, and I'm getting better, such as for the Open University & CreativeTime.
