At Seattle Children’s Hospital, a nonprofit research institute and hospital, I developed strong skills in communicating with different groups of people and in creating strategies to manage projects and large datasets. In addition to recruiting participants for research studies, I worked closely with the internal regulatory and review board to keep them up to date on necessary study changes, while communicating with key stakeholders about accomplished study milestones.I trained and led a team of project managers to recruit diverse patients, interview families, and collect data, with the aim of tracking illness spread throughout the city. Initially focusing on flu research, I quickly adapted to the changing environment and revised my research plan to study the novel coronavirus in children. I take pride in tackling problems, adapting to complex situations, and providing strategic solutions.
