Responsibilities include the following (as part of UNHCR's Anaemia Reduction and Control Strategy):- Assessed the effectiveness of a lipid-based nutrient supplement on anaemia and stunting prevalence in refugee populations in the Horn of Africa.- Successfully managed expanded nutrition survey in Kakuma refugee camp (Kenya) using Android (mobile) technology.

London / Niger

Completed the following consultancies:Cash Study Consultant - Trainer and Database Manager:- Provided baseline technical support to the ENN/SCUK operational research investigating the relationship between cash transfers and malnutrition in Niger.SMART presenter, University of Westminster- Presented to MSc students on SMART methodology and ENA softwareTechnical reviewer, Save the Children- Supported the editing and finalisation of the Minimum Reporting Project user guidelines for emergency supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes.

Roles included the following (as part of UNHCR's Anaemia Reduction and Control Strategy):- Led the revision and finalisation of UNHCR’s Operational Guidance on the use of special nutritional products in refugee population- Designed, planned and facilitated Operational Guidance training workshop in collaboration with UNHCR and ENN.- Implemented and supervised nutrition and mortality surveys in Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps. Managed nutrition survey using Android mobile technology for data collection.

Ethiopia

- Implemented and supervised SMART nutrition surveys and CSAS coverage survey.- Worked towards attainment of longer-term organisational goals to reduce chronic malnutrition, through completion of a regional nutrition/multi-sectorial profile to aid programme planning.- Post internship: completed various consultancies including synthesising key evidence and experience of optimising sustainability of interventions and results and scaling up effective interventions.

Researched the evidence base for, and drafted position paper on School Feeding in Emergencies.
