I am a Digital Assurance and Transparency principal at PwC with 19 years of experience in audit and controls. I specialize in information technology general controls (ITGCs), automated controls, and business process controls across multiple industries, emphasizing technology.For the past several years, I have focused on development and delivery of Cloud Assurance solutions, such as cloud risk assessment, pre-implementation considerations, cloud control design, and cloud controls testing, as well as delivering external audits to global technology organizations. I've developed AWS-focused content within PwC to support our digital upskilling strategy, and regularly meet with our clients to discuss their questions on cloud transformation / cloud adoption as it relates to the impact to controls over financial reporting and/or customer commitments made through SOC reporting.Prior to this, I was on tour with PwC National Office, where I focused on the development of and training on ERP guidance, ICFR consultation and data auditing. This opportunity has allowed me to directly impact PwC audit guidance and auditing techniques, as well as gain visibility and develop perspective on trending PwC client challenges and best practices.I am happiest in my work when I get to help clients solve complex, challenging audit problems, including material weakness remediation, controls re-design/implementation, international reporting, and process optimization.
