Innovation CITY (iCITY) offers a supportive community for professionals working in life sciences, biotechnology, or complimentary fields in Allschwil and Reinach. At our Reinach location, we offer over 5'000 m2 of furnished and equipped laboratory and office space for companies, start-ups, scale-ups and researchers. In addition, we aim to promote a sustainable and inclusive biotech ecosystem by providing shared and private labs. The purpose of iCITY is to foster curiosity and cultivate a nurturing environment that people enjoy being in. We believe that innovation thrives in diverse spaces and aim to build bridges between professionals from different disciplines and backgrounds. • Conceptualised and executed transition of the course from in-person to online delivery• Conducted Technology Needs Analysis, led procurement process for a bespoke platform and Learning Management System, as well as software for synchronous learning• Coordinated administrative aspects of the course, managed high-level stakeholders• Recruited, trained, and managed technical support team and facilitators for course week• Collaborated closely with subject experts to ensure educational excellence in a new format

Originally planned to take place in Basel in June 2020, the course was ultimately postponed to 2021 and translated into an online course.

• Cleaned and managed the directorate’s database of key contacts, trained administrators in correct use, evaluated and reported on feasibility of implementing a CRM tool• Supported planning for the 2019 symposium “Climate Change and Health”, in particular the planning and logistics for remote speakers• Led procurement and vendor management for a white-label Swiss TPH event app• Supported the communications team with activities including writing for the website and social media, corporate print materials, and content creation
