As the Development Manager I am responsible for overseeing all product development and business development activities. I am also in charge of sales and marketing of our Enztec products.

At Enztec I manage projects to ensure CE compliant orthopaedic instruments are delivered to customers with appropriate documentation and regulatory controls in place. I am closely involved in all aspects of the supply chain from consulting with clients to define their requirements, working with designers to ensure those requirements are translated into product, evaluating products with surgeons to verify their needs are met, liaising with quality and regulatory team to establish CE compliance, and working with production to ensure products are delivered in a timely manner to budget.

At TSG I delivered client solutions through robust data analysis and the development of simulation models in the mining, logistics and transportation sectors. I participated in all aspects of the consulting process from problem definition and solution through to client presentations.I worked on Rio Tinto Iron Ore expansion projects to identify ways in which they could improve the performance of their rail network and at individual mine sites and the impact this would have on system performance.

At UWA I developed mathematical models of diffusive oxygen transport in the rat kidney. This work was published in the American Journal of Physiology - Renal Physiology.

I worked as a project manager in the Imaging Sciences and Biomedical Engineering division at KCL. In this role I prepared a successful tender proposal for an imaging assessment centre, coordinated clinical research, managed a research nurse, organised divisional research assessment processes, and developed a new divisional website.

I was involved in identifying and developing commercial applications for the modelling work conducted at the ABI as well as developing computational models.Specifically I worked on developing finite element models of the muscles and bones of the human body. Part of my time was spent working for eBonz, a spin off company from the ABI working in the orthopaedic arena. I established links with AUT and the fashion industry in NZ on a project using a 3D body surface scanner to obtain anthropometric data on the size and shape of different populations within New Zealand. The 3D data will be used to develop customised anatomical models. I was involved in the supervision of students working on a highly detailed finite element model of the knee and ankle and a student using PCA on body surface scans to analyse modes of shape.

I managed the Whole Herd Screening Project, established to screen the national database of cows for unique characteristics. I performed statistical analysis to identify important traits located on different chromosomes.
