SpinFusion was acquired by symplr in August 2021. After the acquisition, I was put in a Senior Business Consultant role. This position was primarily implementing both new customer systems as well as new projects for our existing customers. I worked closely with project managers and the development team to ensure all deliverables were met and exceeded for each project.After about a year, I started cross training on other software solutions at symplr. I did conduct remote trainings for the Staffing & Scheduling product before my departure in March 2023.

As VP of People & Operations, my role was both a people and a technical position. I assisted in managing a small team of implementation and support techs. Additionally, I was in charge of posting open positions, scheduling and conducting interviews, as well as handling the hiring and onboarding of new hires. In this role, I really stepped into a technical role guiding client implementations from start to finish. I collaborated with client stakeholders to define project scopes, deliverables and timelines to work towards go live of their software solution. I frequently traveled onsite to conduct both administrator and end-user trainings, as well as gather requirements for new customers. Additionally, I collaborated closely with the development team in both customer custom projects and QA/UI testing for both the mobile app and desktop version of the software.Other odds and ends I did as a daily part of my position was manage invoicing for all of our customers, following up on delinquents and starting/stopping invoicing as necessary. I was frequently involved in marketing design for both tradeshow displays and brochures.

As the Administrative Coordinator, my role was essentially whatever needed to be done to support our CEO. I managed all daily administrative tasks including scheduling, record-keeping, and coordinating meetings and travel office wide.SpinFusion was a relatively new start-up when I joined, so there was a lot to be done as it related to effective filing and document management. Additionally, I implemented office procedures that became standard and helped streamline operations. One primary procedure I created and set as a standard was the onboarding process of our new clients. I used my event management experience while planning and executing end user conferences every year for our clients, coordinating logistics and managing vendors.

In this role, I sold event space and catering services to the Denver wedding market. After contracting a wedding, I worked directly with clients to plan and organize wedding event details to take place at the hotel, communicating all details to other departments and seeing the event through to execution. Additionally, I developed and maintained relationships with wedding vendors and industry professionals to increase referral business for the hotel.

As a leasing consultant, I toured prospective applicants daily and conducted follow up to both prospects and live applicants. I was responsible for general office administration, including organizing all documents required for lease signing and filing paperwork accordingly.Report resident issues to maintenance or management as required, exhibiting empathy and customer service skills.

I sold both event space and hotel rooms for any and all markets - national conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, etc. I executed rate negotiations daily; established files, and issued proposals and contracts to customers.Once an event was sold, I worked directly with the customer in planning. After details were set, I communicated the customer needs and expectations to other hotel departments through banquet event orders and weekly staff meetings.
