This role reports to the Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness, Continuous Professional Learning• Collaborate with SMEs to design online courses• Develop interactive activities to reinforce learning, course shells, and HTML course pages hosted on Blackboard Ultra LMS• Maintain, improve, and update courses in response to emerging needs• Develop training materials in support of effective course delivery and use of instructional technologies• Provide troubleshooting related to course development and delivery for learners and staff• Set up and support learner accessibility needs including accomodations and exceptions for assessments

Instructional Design & Curriculum Development:• Developed end-to-end learning solutions, driving school’s digital transformation into synchronous e-learning platforms.• Spearheaded digitization of learning materials within one week during COVID-19 closures, ensuring seamless program continuity.• Early adopter of Google Classroom since 2018, significantly boosting learner engagement and digital fluency.• Developed innovative assessments, lessons, and content for pilots of enriched STEM units, including modules in HTML, CSS, Python, R, and 3D visualization, two years ahead of Ministry of Education updates to the mathematics curriculum.• Created and implemented financial literacy modules focused on entrepreneurship and the stock market.School, Learner & Staff Development:• Collaborated with key stakeholders to craft and enhance school programming.• Delivered Ontario Curriculum with enrichment initiatives to foster higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in students.• Actively supported students' social and emotional learning (SEL), promoting an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.• Mentored student-teachers and trained new employees, offering performance modeling, feedback, and resources for personal and professional growth.Leadership & Initiatives:• Piloted the Student Vote program, enhancing student participation and understanding of democratic processes.• Served as Staff Advisor for Research & Model UN Club, House League, and Alumni Association, designing engaging activities for each initiative.• Guided students in preparation for regional contests in writing, mathematics, and coding, leading to multiple first-place and honor roll rankings, including IFOA Write Across Ontario, Mathematica Centrum, Canadian National Mathematics League, and Beaver Computing Challenge.
