Following a period of deep reflection, I made a significant career change and landed my dream job as an Outdoor Educator at Rewilding Farm and Forest School. I am currently pursing my 'Forest and Nature School Practitioner' certification by the Child and Nature Alliance of Canada, while actively seeking out other avenues for professional growth. Additionally, I've taken on responsibilities in administration and marketing for both Rewilding and Moondance Organic Gardens, the beautiful property where Rewilding is located. My previous education is in Interior Design with a focus on Sustainability. After Interning at a Sustainable Consulting Firm and assisting on LEED projects I became LEED GA accredited. I then completed the Sustainable Building and Construction program at Fleming College and assisted in building a Straw Bale Outdoor Education Centre for a local school, as well as being the head of the Design Team. For four years I worked for the Save On Energy Small Business Lighting Program as a Field Representative. I passed my Energy Advisor exams with Natural Resources of Canada and worked as a Registered Energy Advisor with Homesol Building Solutions for 5 months.I have a strong background in Customer Service, working as a Team, and Sales. I enjoy learning and in the past couple years have also completed my Project Management Certificate, Indigenous Canada Certificate, and participated in Landscape Ontario's Horticulture and Landscape Grow program.
