  As the Executive Assistant, Corporate and Media Relations, I am responsible for providing administrative support to multiple senior executives to ensure the most optimal use of their time. I manage the calendar for the President and CEO, screen calls and act as a point of contact for external clients. I prepare and distribute materials for Board of Directors and Committee meetings, prepare and process invoices and submit expense reports. I have extensive experience in booking corporate travel, as well as hotel and car service arrangements. I am responsible for organizing a number of key events for the Hockey Hall of Fame, including Board of Directors meetings, staff functions, press conferences, and more, ensuring all facets of the events are managed to create successful and memorable experiences for those involved. I also play a key role in our annual Induction Celebration, which draws an attendance of roughly 1300 people and is a main fundraising initiative for the organization. I am responsible for the sale and distribution of tickets to the Gala Celebration, as well as organize travel and hotel arrangements; execute sponsorship contracts for the event and liaise with sponsors to assist with fulfilling rights and benefits as per contractual obligations; and more. I respond to and assist in the management of media requests, including coordinating filming and arranging interviews, helping to showcase the Museum and ensure it remains a world-renowned organization. I assist in coordinating and executing news conferences and other media events, as well as proofread and edit press releases and other documents.
