In this role I collaborated with jurisdictions in El Dorado County, California and our El Dorado Disposal team to develop comprehensive recycling and organic waste collection. Projects included program development for California Mandatory Commercial Organics Collection (AB 1826), California Mandatory Commercial Recycling (AB 341), and upcoming Short Lived Climate Pollutants (SB 1383). I also provided workshops on recycling and waste reduction and am a frequent speaker at community events.

Port-Au-Prince, Haiti

This contract based role, located in Port-Au-Prince Haiti, was to primarily to expand the FdS waste collection and recycling capacity. This also included managing the production, installation and operation of FdS Clean Cook Stove and Briquette projects and developing strategic growth initiatives such as expansion of FdS composting and oil recycling. Additionally I monitored budgets, updated our social media and marketing strategies, and recruited volunteers. FdS Haiti is Social-Eco Enterprise

In this role I worked with municipalities and stakeholders across Washington State to develop effective recycling and composting, and waste reduction programs. This includes developing the City of Kirkland's Organics Contamination Reduction Pilot Program, and also coordinating Zero Waste Events for the City of Snoqualmie, City of Duvall, and the Lake Washington Schools Foundation. Additionally I managed a collegiate level internship program, "Recycle Corps," gave tours at Cascade Recycling Center, and participated in a number of industry groups including the Washington Organics Contamination Reduction Work Group (OCRW).
