An advocate for preventative care, I truly believe that preventing the progression of an condition is key. Through implementing and managing screening services I have delivered improved health care for Jersey residents, better diagnosis and prognosis whilst delivering value for money for HCS. Patient centric care drives my services and beliefs.I have a proven background in research, clinical and senior management roles. A background in research and clinical experience means that the programmes I run are evidence based, operationally sound and align with the wider strategic aims of HCS, JCM and the Government Plan. I can take highly complex information and translate it into presentations and papers that are easy to read and assessable to all. I am a proud member of the HCS research ethics committee and the clinical and professional advisory forum.Through my private practise, VisionWorks, I continue with my orthoptic work and ensure that the clinic provides a thorough assessment of our patient's visual systems, visual perception and can also diagnose visual stress. Once problems have been identified we provide continuing  bespoke home exercise plans for the improvement and maximisation of visual skills.
