Sarah is the founder and executive director of The Impact Guild, a collective of community asset builders investing in our neighborhoods through creative problem solving. Sarah brings a background of design thinking, workshop facilitation, asset based community development and community engagement into every neighborhood and project she is immersed in. Sarah is fueled by a desire to see creativity, justice and love alive in very tangible ways in the buildings, businesses and people of our neighborhoods. She works on placemaking projects in areas such as environmental sustainability, housing affordability, workforce development.

Kickstand joins two of my greatest passions: branding and marketing with social impact and the ability to make a positive difference in the world. Kickstand is a Cause Strategy Agency — elevating brands with the power of purpose. We help companies discover what they stand for and then develop sustainable strategies for strengthening brand loyalty through a focus on investing in real and meaningful social good. Once the foundations are in place, we help tell that story in an authentic way that gives the audience a reason to join in, share it and give it a life of its own.My role falls primarily in the first portion of this process. In order to take a stand, a business has to know who they are. I work with brands in identifying the fundamental parts of their identity: core purpose, core values, and the like. This involves interactive workshops/discussions and research.
