I believe in the power of evidence to drive social change. At MDRC, I study the transition from high school to post-secondary and workforce for marginalized students. I regularly produce literature reviews; conduct participant interviews and ethnography; write interview and survey protocols; and code qualitative data to inform report writing. For my organization, I also manage IRB submissions; project manage; and produce newsletter and Twitter content.Previously, I served as a content creator across the hospitality, tech and healthcare industries. I studied sociology in college, which means I am in the practice of examining power and its effects. Colleagues would describe me as incisive, disciplined and thoughtful. My strengths are writing; problem solving; and relating to others. My exposure to different cultures--namely that of Pakistan and France--has broadened my capacity to relate to others personally and professionally.
