Climate and Sustainability is a team of sustainability consultants focusing on supporting agriculture in its transition to Net Zero and addressing a range of other sustainability challenges facing the industry and associated supply chain such as productivity, land use change, water use, soil health.

Our great strength is our breadth and depth of expertise spanning both the agricultural and environmental sectors.In my role here in the Sustainable food and farming team, I have a broad understanding of agricultural production techniques, especially arable crop production. Work with government and corporate organisations to enhance the sustainability of agricultural supply chains. This includes farmer engagement, measurement of greenhouse gases, provision of training and workshops. In addition I provide policy support/ information to interested parties on the impacts of change (e.g. climate, legislative etc) on agriculture.Key areas of interest:- Monitoring of crop development and harvest progress in the UK- Impacts of change on agricultural production- Socio-economic evaluation of pesticides in UK and Europe- Sustainable food production- Increasing the water use efficiency of crops- Reducing GHG (carbon) emissions from agricultural supply chains - Experienced in the use of Cool Farm Tool
