I am an experienced and inspirational drama practitioner, director and writer who has been working within arts, training and education (both mainstream and outside of school) for 25 years. My work in the arts focuses on creating quality theatre with and for young people and encompasses a vast range of productions of established plays in addition to the devising, writing and direction of innovative new works for young people. At the heart of all of my productions is the search for truth, integrity and creative vision. In my work within education and training I use drama to develop creativity, confidence and communication all essential elements in successful learning. Clients include a number of NHS trusts, housing associations, local authorities and arts organisations. My education work in primary, secondary and non mainstream settings is driven by the same ambition of excellence and opportunities for all.Another application of my understanding of the essentials of communication and performance is coaching clients in successful public speaking and effective presentation skills. In addition to my independent work I am the artistic director of Yew Tree Arts Ltd and Yew Tree Youth Theatre.
