Welcome! My name is Sarah Zeffiro and I'm an artist, experience designer, and educator. I am passionate about art, art education, wellness, and community-building. My love of sharing art and learning is rooted in over 20 years teaching and designing programs for K-12 students and educators in museums and schools. Zart Studios designs custom artwork that includes exhibit design and installations, murals, graphics, and fine art. Zart Studios hosts and develops educational programming and creative experiences for all ages and abilities. Creativity, community, and collaboration are guiding principles @zartstudios. #youbelongAn ongoing art and research project, Love is Colorful, explores art education, Social and Emotional Learning, cognition, movement, and play. I am curious how creativity, psychology, and movement can support healing and trauma-informed learning. Love is Colorful is developing yoga, mindfulness, and arts-based programming for all ages in 2024. As a Carlow University MEd alumnae, it’s a dream to serve as Program Director of Art Education. Working alongside colleagues and students in the Department of Education, The Campus Laboratory School, the University Art Gallery, and The Department of Art, Communication, and English is an honor. At Carlow, we emphasize the mercy mission, interdisciplinary learning, and doing work to further a more just and merciful world.
