The Blue Door Café and Bakery is an award-winning restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio that runs both brunch and dinner services throughout the week. The restaurant regularly serves between 200-400 customers during a 5.5 hour brunch service in only a 27-table space. I am a lead hostess and server at the Blue Door Café and Bakery. On a daily basis, I communicate with customers and employees, manage customer expectations, organize high volumes of customers and orders, and manage duties in a fast-paced environment. I am relied upon to manage hosting and bussing duties during the weekend brunch shifts, which is when the restaurant sees the highest volume of customers.

During my time at Community Legal Aid, I interned for the HEAL Project, a medical-legal partnership between the firm and local medical organizations, such as Cleveland Clinic Akron General, Summa Health, and Akron Children's Hospital. In this role, I prepared case summaries and reports for community partners, assisted in health law advocacy projects and research, communicated with clients, social workers, and community health organizations, and completed specific projects as assigned by the managing attorney.
