Volunteer Literacy Tutor for a charity that believes every child has the right to a fair chance of future success. Providing one-to-one literacy teaching as well as group community sessions for children and young people, who struggle with learning to read, write, speak and listen.

Worked at leading viral media news company Newsflare with the Newsdesk team. Daily duties included relevant news roundup, video search, reaching out and liaising with potential contributors, writing and editing.

At C Squared assisting the Editorial team with various duties, including managing web content, writing news stories, and editing and uploading award winning marketing campaign case studies. Also conducted extensive research, collating and analysing the data in preparation for a major anniversary.

Worked at ITN Productions as Arabic Speaking Producer on a weekly international programme called N2K (Need To Know), a program that is focused on technology, gaming, global news, viral videos and trends. 'The world according to the web'.Daily duties included researching, translation (English-Arabic, Arabic-English), script writing, organising and conducting interviews, video sourcing, editing, and signing off the Arabic version of the programme.

Received a Media Bursary to travel to Oslo, Norway, for a work experience placement with NRK. Attended radio, documentary and language classes in preparation for the trip.Experience ranged from working with various departments within NRK, from TV documentaries and Radio Production, to covering the Oslo World Music Festival, and producing both a group and solo Radio Documentary.
