● Conducts daily Process GMP Audits on the main production areas of the plant.● Conducts daily Process QC Audits of manufacturing and molding lines ensuring HACCP requirements are fulfilled by production workers.● Heads monthly GMP Area Audits to determine GFSI compliance for each area.● Responsible for training and calibrating new auditors.● Coordinates monthly assignment schedules for GMP area audits.● Analyzes audit data in order to report site percent compliance with GFSI standards to senior management.● Generates visual data for senior management that focuses on each area's trend in compliance for the FY.● Creates maintenance service requests through Maximo.● Issues GMP CARs, as necessary, as a result of audit trail findings.● Takes a leadership role in the site’s CAPA Log; follows up with the department/individual the CAR is issued to; determines if action is adequate, verifies action and effectiveness; closes out CAR if requirements are satisfied. ● Training on the site’s yearly internal audit of the entire food management system required by GFSI standards.● Performs testing and inspections as it pertains to rheology, analytical, sensory, and microbiological testing.● Collaborates with other departments such as production and planning to ensure shipment loads are within specification for the customer in time to meet loadout deadlines.● Responsible for creating COCs/COAs for all outbound shipments.● Various other responsibilities and projects as needed: QCP, CCP checks, testing for element composition with XRF machine by Vanta, molding inspections, label inspections, and more.
