At Biosecurity Queensland I worked with an amazing team creating copy for flyers, brochures, social media, articles and e-newsletters to spread the word about new Biosecurity legislation that went into effect in July. Here I also helped coordinate a video and photo shoot for some new Youtube content. My time with Biosecurity Queensland was unfortunately cut short when the opportunity to move to San Francisco came up!

In this role my main focus was helping Halfbrick's marketing team and campaigns run as smoothly as possible! I helped with the coordination of tasks and schedules (using a Kanban board and Agile Marketing processes), identified and resolved impediments for the team and ran regular retrospectives which focused on frequent and continuous improvement. This is how I became known as the "queen of sticky notes". Together the team improved the number of completed tasks by about 35% over a period of 6 months! Alongside this production role I also created and contributed to a variety of communication documents such as marketing plans, media releases, product brochures, advertisements and brand guidelines. I was fortunate to liaise and collaborate with some big stakeholders such as Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Universal Studios, Fox Studios and Samsung.Check out some of the projects I was involved with in this role!

During my time as Marketing Coordinator we launched 12 new games worldwide- not to mention promoting multiple updates to these games and to our classics Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride. Phew! I was also responsible for all graphic design tasks, creating visual assets as well as marketing decks, briefs, brand guidelines and promotional brochures. All this work took a lot of coordination, scheduling and tracking on my part so that our team wouldn't miss a beat. To help things along I championed the implementation of a company-wide release calendar and started our very first task board.

Aha! This is one of my secret superpowers. As Graphic Artist I was responsible for creating a myriad of assets (both digital and print-ready), such as banners, screenshots, social images, feature artwork and brand overviews. I also kept all assets clean and organized and reviewed merchandise art for licensees (usually printers and t-shirt manufacturers).

At Liquid Animation I coordinated a team of 25 talented artists in the production of Mattel's Polly Pocket web series and Minnie's Bowtoons in the Disney Jr Channel.I was responsible for daily schedules, tracking assets and delivering final assets in a very fast paced environment, working closely with the Art Director and Producer.

Sydney

This awesome gig was a 3 week work placement with renowned children's program Giggle and Hoot. As Production Intern I mostly focussed on assisting with the Giggle Gallery segment of the show, where we presented letters and pictures sent in by young fans all over the country. This was lots of fun and I always ended up covered in glitter.
