• Growing the Value of the Cruise Sector in the Pacific: As a result of using a data-driven approach via a Cruise Sector Economic Impact Report and a Cost-benefit Analysis for improving the economic and social value of the cruise sector, we partnered with Carnival Cruises to create opportunities for local businesses to become involved in their supply chain. • The Report created a benchmark for the value of the cruise sector for Government, with three other countries replicating the process. I led the effort to get businesses export ready, which led to the outcome of the Carnival P&O Ships now sourcing local products, creating jobs and opportunities for small to midsize businesses in the country. Also currently leading and managing consultants to deliver the Fiji Economic Impact Assessment of the Cruise Sector with Cost-Benefit Analysis of ways to increase impact for the Fijian Government.• Supporting local businesses and government to grow the Chinese tourism market: Designed and implemented a government, marketing, and trade program over five years to seed a new arrivals market from China after analysis showed that Vanuatu needed to diversify their source tourism markets and drive tourism to outer islands.• As a result of the program, Government has now embedded the Chinese market into their marketing program, and the market has experienced a year on year growth of 30%, leading to close to $7 million in revenues for local businesses, including those in the outer islands.

• Based in Port Vila, Vanuatu, for two years, implemented and managed a tourism development project, including working in a post-disaster environment.• Tourism Investment and Business Improvement Scheme: I created and delivered a national investment incentive scheme in the form of a tourism awards program for the Vanuatu tourism sector to promote competitiveness, collaboration, innovation, and sustainability.• The program led to over $100 K of investment, improved business practices, promoted sustainability, increased staff engagement and marketing, seeded new products, and increased collaboration within the sector and is ongoing three years on. • Tourism Investment and Business Improvement Scheme: I created and delivered a national investment incentive scheme in the form of a tourism awards program for the Vanuatu tourism sector to promote competitiveness, collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. • Led the implementation of a data-driven tourism initiative to set up an online International Visitor Survey which resulted in an increased marketing budget and a branding overhaul. • Promoted for the work undertaken in Vanuatu

• Promoted three times in four years, culminating in the position of communications officer role managing the internal and external communications for IFC’s activities in the Pacific region, covering 11 countries • Created compelling online and offline content showcasing the organization’s development and investment impact, including heading efforts to create video content for the East Asia Pacific Region • Integrated communications into trade promotion projects in Vanuatu, business registration projects in Timor-Leste and Papua New Guinea, and alternative dispute resolution projects in the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea• Managed communications, including risk profiling, on investment projects, including manufacturing and banking projects in Papua New Guinea • Led the regional launches of several reports, including the World Bank’s ‘Doing Business’ report and a collection of reports on the regulatory barriers to women’s involvement in business in the Pacific region, including business case studies• Trained colleagues in East Asia Pacific on presentation and media skills, as well as video production skills
