I live in beautiful Valley Center, California, with my husband and two teenaged sons. I love to hike, read, write, edit, support independent authors, research history, listen to true crime podcasts, and spend time with my family. I enjoy volunteering during my free time, including being a fire tower lookout and an archaeology site steward. My dream is to hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail (from the Mexican border to the Canadian border) in one shot. Since this takes 4-6 months, I will need to win the lottery or retire first. I don't play the lottery, so I still have many years to get ready.Teaching: An innovative teacher with over fifteen years of experience in the field.
