Winning a Social Venture Competition in 2009 launched me into a career as a social entrepreneur--a role I never plan to leave. Since building one of the world’s first impact-focused crowdfunding platforms, which nurtured an active online community of 10,000+ donors to raise more than $700,000 for social impact projects around the globe, I've facilitated evaluations, presented research, and launched community development programs on four continents and worked as a user experience designer, creative director, data scientist, usability specialist, curriculum consultant, professional evaluator, and university instructor. I am intensely fond of my road bike, symphonic cello, and stracciatella gelato and I detest bad line-breaks, bean soup, and writing my own bio.Oh, and I’m going to change the world.
