Donor Recognition And Stewardship Officer
Current• Assists in securing and planning recognition for philanthropic gifts toward a $500 million capital fundraising campaign to build a new Hospital campus• Plays a key role in thanking donors and reporting on their impact • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and developing policies, procedures, and matrices for volunteer and donor recognition and stewardship while also preparing donor recognition and stewardship plans for a new campus• Manages upcoming and existing recognition and stewardship activities across 3 existing hospital campuses, as well as planning for these activities for the new Hospital campus:-- Planning and executing donor recognition signage, donor tours, donor meetings, sign unveilings, donor events, and cheque presentations in partnership with The Ottawa Hospital Planning and Facilities team, the Senior Management Team, external vendors, fundraisers, and donors-- Managing personal and customized recognition gifts, including citations, take-away signage, custom lab coats, etc.-- Maintaining a record of asset inventory lists, gift agreements, and donor recognition agreements, as well as recording information and interactions in Raiser’s Edge and Wrike• Responsible for managing Donor Experience actions, projects, and tasks in Wrike• Assists with proposal writing to secure potential/future gifts of $50,000+• Creates recognition collateral pieces (e.g. a recognition opportunity booklet, Gift Agreements, recognition documents, custom proposals for recognition opportunities, Statements of Understanding, etc.)• Responsible for all budget planning and strategic planning for the Donor Experience portfolio• Updates and presents the Donor Recognition and Stewardship Bootcamp for Foundation staff onboarding
