As the Senior Instructional Manager at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), I develop and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences for academic advising staff and students. With over 10 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum and program development, training, assessment, and educational technology, I have a proven track record of creating innovative solutions that enhance learning outcomes and satisfaction.I am passionate about promoting equitable and inclusive opportunities for learners of diverse backgrounds and needs. I have successfully coordinated and implemented new staff onboarding, professional development, wellness, and technology training programs for UTSA Advising, as well as specialized advising and programs for students who are not making academic progress. I am also a certified Adult Mental Health First Aid Instructor, and have developed and managed an Advisor Wellness Program to support healthy work habits. Additionally, I have taught online courses for multiple higher education institutions, using various learning management systems and content authoring tools.
