Responsible for identifying community development needs for the underbanked and underserved in the communities we serve and future communities, in support of Nusenda’s strategic initiative. Ensures Credit Union’s compliance with Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) requirements. Cultivate and develop key strategic partnerships with external constituents to seek collaborative grant and funding opportunities. Assist with community service and support activities as a representative of Nusenda, supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation of community outreach partnerships, including external financial capability programs, and other philanthropic initiatives, and the impact of Nusenda Community investments. Manage and designs the development of educational activities, coordinating with partner organizations and the community.

Support the Nusenda Foundation by working collaboratively with external partners on funding opportunities to build collective impact frameworks. Create and manage collaborative philanthropic programs to include grant development, fundraising opportunities and other community related projects. Oversee extensive data collection and analysis that supports program outcomes and grant reporting requirements. Assist with the development of the Nusenda Foundation Annual Report and distribution of Community Rewards. Develops protocols for grant and award applications; develops fundraising opportunities; manages budget and operation plans. Fosters relationships with other funders and foundations on behalf of the Nusenda Foundation and associated programs.
