I have this unquenchable need for balance. Too heavy on any one objective, and I truly cannot help but fixate on its compliment, its counterpart, its opposite, its other half. I once found this annoying... but today—I'm going to embrace it! I need to be an Architect of Space and an Architect of People. I always have and always will find joy in crafting space. I love solving that problem over and over again. But what brings joy to my teammates, my colleagues, my clients, the world? I need all these people motivated and productive and happy and at their full potential for me to best reach mine. What if there was a focus and a real value to not only know the CRAFT of architecture inside and out, but also to know the PEOPLE of architecture to that same degree. Is everyone fulfilling their passions and interests? Is everyone plugging into the best roles for their future goals, using their best working styles and resources, and with the most complimentary team? Could they be more engaged, more excited, more HAPPY, if only someone invested enough time to see them as both an individual and a contributor, and then plug all the best and most overlapping pieces into the collective whole? How can I help YOU be the best version of you, so WE can be the best version of us?So there you go—I must be an Architect of Space and and an Architect of People.
