I am passionate about helping college students navigate the complexities of personal finances and economic decisions, find resources, and plan for their futures. I have experience administering K-12 and university financial wellness and literacy programs including managing peer-to-peer coaching and education.I previously served as the inaugural Program Manager for Student Financial Wellness at Baylor University from 2021-2024 and as the Coordinator for Financial Literacy Programming at the University of Texas-Pan American (now part of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) from 2013-2014. Between 2014 and 2021, I completed my master’s degree and Ph.D. coursework at Iowa State University in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus in Family Finance.
