Although I did not sell radio, I worked with radio account executives and management to develop opportunities for several 'expos' in the Des Moines area. Selling both sponsorships and exhibitor space and working with venue and promoter, we were able to build successful shows. I also worked with promotions on different stations like LazerFest and WaterStock for Lazer 103.3, Star 102.5's Ken and Colleen's Kids' Radiothon for Children's Miracle Network and for Star Christmas Wish.

As store manager of Stam's, I was responsible for interviewing, hiring and training all retail staff; maintaining upkeep and inventory of store, assisting owner in ordering of product and packaging, building 'outside' sales by developing relationships with store clients and building store sales.
