As a client-focused professional, I bring a wealth of experience in environmental science and analytical chemistry, driven by my passion for sustainability and continual improvement. Throughout my career, I've worked on various projects, including fieldwork on research cruises, leading efforts to sustain product quality, and playing a key role in developing a state-of-the-art portable GC/MS. These experiences have sharpened my skills in using instruments like GC/MS, GC, and HPLC, as well as in field sampling, data analysis, process improvement, and technical documentation. I continue to support clients in my role as a product engineer II at INFICON. Crafting comprehensive manuals, training material and SOPs. Additionally, I play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of new product development system tests, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance were met from inception to launch. Through continuous improvement efforts I drove the resolution of 150+ quality issues last year across multiple product lines. Outside of my regular job function, I have also helped champion community action, DEI, and sustainability efforts. In challenging, fast-paced corporate settings, I've excelled at managing multiple projects to reduce waste and streamline processes, resulting in significant cost savings and diverting greater than 80% of facility waste. Our team helped with all primary production sites transitioning to 100% certified green electricity, up from 81% in 2022, further lowering our greenhouse gas emissions by 37%. Additionally, my strong project coordination, active listening and excellent written communications skills enable effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. Currently, I'm pursuing certification in project management to further enhance my skills.Beyond professional commitments, I'm passionate about environmental stewardship, especially conservation biology and sustainable practices.
